&The following is a list of 11 things I would like to get accomplished
in my first term as your Assemblyman
- Border and Immigration Reform – "Secure Borders
First"
- Design a new Education Program – Give each student a
laptop and website and develop a "California Educational Intranet."
- Internet Access - Make the whole state one big “California
Hot Spot.”
- Traffic - Monorails not Subways – “A Third of the
Cost - A Third of the Time.”
- Homeless – Audit all homeless related state funded programs.
The homeless population is 90,000 + in Los Angeles County. Our State, County
and City governments have failed.
- Gangs – Audit all gangs related state funded programs.
The Gang population is 120,000 + in Los Angeles County, almost as large as
our armed force in all of Iraq. There are only 9,000 police officers in Los
Angeles. Our State, County and City governments have failed.
- Healthcare Reform – Take the profit out of Insurance.
- Pension Reform – Provide the same pension system as the
Government Employees receive. It works and the Government employees are going
to be well taken care of in their retirement. Much more so than the average
worker.
- Less Taxes – Where ever there is a program that has not
improved its mission cancel it.
- Less Fees Fines Assessments and Regulation – Lets focus
on not bringing illegal immigrants to Los Angeles by offering them free education,
free healthcare and drivers licenses, instead lets focus on bringing business'
back into California by properly educating our children and stop taxing our
innovators and entrepreneurs that provide us jobs.
- Less Government - Where ever there is a government agency that
is not in the business of protecting our citizens then we must get rid of
it.
