My Opponent
My opponent, Karen Bass, sits in what is called a "safe seat". That means because her district has a majority of voters in her party, she does not have to work for your vote, share your values, or even get up in the morning and show up for work. She's safe - or so she thinks.
When Karen Bass, does get up these are the things she spends her time on: organizations that attempt to sue the Boy Scouts of America for their beliefs while at the same time defending organizations like NAMBLA (National Association of Man Boy Love) enabling them to continue their practices of child molestation. I am for Jessica's Law that will increase the penalties for this type of behavior.
Karen and her allies in Sacramento worked hard for an entire year on delaying the passage of Jessica's law while the overwhelming majority of Californians are deeply in favor of it.
Karen Bass is for open borders and has signed on to legislation that provides free services to illegal immigrants. This sends a message south of the border that if you come here illegally you won't have to work. This has a devastating impact on jobs in our community where not to long ago a dry wall hanger could get $25 per hour and now just over $10 per hour. The quality of Union jobs is being affected by cheep labor, and the California taxpayer is subsidizing cheap labor.
Karen Bass is intractably tied to special interests such as the California Labor Federation; California Teamsters; United Farm Workers of America all who need cheap labor and new members which the flow of illegal immigrants can provide.
Karen Bass is a devout Marxist who believe that their should be no private property, military or marriages. She was a radical leader of the Communist Venceramos Brigades who gathered up disenfranchised and vulnerable youth and took them to Cuba to support Castro's revolution.
Karen Bass does not share our values of a moral America based on free market economies, a strong military and freedom, framed by a "We The People" form of government. America honors the strength and independence of the individual and is the most compassionate nation the world has ever known.
No, if Karen Bass had to defend her values to the majority of the 47th District the moderate democrats would not vote for her period.
