My friends and supporters, in and out of the 47th State Assembly District,

I have just received the tragic news regarding the death of my opponent Karen Bass' daughter and son and law, Emilia and Michael Wright.

There are no words to express my sorrow to the two families for there is no greater loss that a parent can suffer than the death of a child.

As a parent myself, I can't even imagine the pain that the Bass and Wright families are suffering at this time.

I ask the people who receive this e-mail to include the two families in their prayers.
